Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year all my sweet friends!!  So sorry I haven't blogged in over a week.  So much was going on with the holiday's----I just never sat down long enough to do it!  Mac's dad came into town and stayed at the house.  I worked most of the time he was here so with him staying at the house, he got to spend more time with Mac. 
Also while he was here, we got another sweet baby to add to our family...  A Yorkshire Terrier named Oscar!  My heart screams love for him!!  Not to mention when him and Mya are laying together--I'm in Heaven!!  I promise pictures are coming!!  He is spending the day today with Aunt Marci and my nieces--I'm sure he will be pooped tonight!! 

Did you make New Year's Resolutions??  I'm going to try to stick to two this year..  One, continue to get healthy and workout the most I can.  Two, stick with the 52 Week Money Challenge.  If I can stick with this, I will have over $1378 at the end of this year!!  So what I think I'm going to do is make a money jar that once I drop the money in, I can't get into it unless I break the jar.  And I'm going to bling out that jar so I don't break it!  Anyone else doing it with me?  The computer I'm on won't copy a link--but just go to 52 Week Money Challenge and you will find tons of printable copies.  There is also a Facebook page!!

All For Phil and FREE Speech!!!

I'm going to start off with, this is my opinion, if you don't want to read it--check back tomorrow and see if you like that topic better. 

To suspend Phil Robertson for HIS comments is just a serious load of crap.  A&E knew what the Robertson's stood for when they signed them for the show.  They have had to defend their views several times IF what I've read is correct.  What to me is even crazier, and I know they are getting paid--but the Robertson's let all of us--into their world.   Is A&E getting nasty letters from PETA regarding the weekly animal killings?  I haven't heard about that if they are--or is that groups opinion tossed out. 
I have several gay friends that truly think this is redonkulous...  Phil simply stated his views and how he precieves things.  His gerneration was brought up completly different than today's world.  He has seen so many changes.  Now I know there has to be limitations on what is said and done, obviously---but I would rather watch Duck Dynasty any day of the week verses Intervention or The Killer Speaks.  I mean really---why do we give a KNOWN killer TV time??  That to me, as a Christian---is offensive.

I could go on for days about this---but I'm not giving the idots that started this anymore of my time...

Is It Over Yet??

I love love love the Christmas season, but working this much through it has been crazy.  But thankfully things have slowed down and I'm almost to a normal schedule again. 

So where do we begin...  Mac and I are loving our membership at Gold's.  When we joined we were both getting over nasty colds, but all is better now and my sweet trainer kicked my butt Monday.  Then of course I couldn't go yesterday because Betty had to go into the shop and I was car-less...  Always something!!

Hopefully we have cured the dreaded headache's with some new specks.  Now it has been decades since I have worn anything other than sun glasses..  So this is going to take some getting used too.  They are progressives--and I only have to wear them at work, reading or driving...   They are kinda fun and funky...

Since I've given up some bad habits (ie the abundence of wine I was drinking)---I'm feeling like a new person.  I reinstated My Fitness Pal app on my new phone and linked up my Jawbone Up to it as well.   So no excuses...   I'm still trying to get up and workout before I go to work---which means getting up at 4:45am..  Can I tell ya'll how hard that is for me!!  But if I want it bad enough I will start getting my ass up!!

TGIF!!! TGIF!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I spent it with my work family, but we had a very tasty meal and a good day...  Now I just have to get through the remaining three days of work.  This girl hasn't worked four in a row in year'S!!  But it's all for the greater good---MONEY!!  

I do have to share a great book I'm reading...  Have ya'll seen the Bridget Jones movies?  Love them...  Well, the third book will not let you down either.  I'm almost half way through it and it's awesome!
I'll give a better review when I finish it.  I can't provide a link because of the computer I'm on...  But just go to Amazon and you will find it in a snap...

I've also got to share the wonderful news of my newest addition...  I turned off the iPhone and upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3!!!  I'm a Droid!!  But I do have to tell you that I LOVE it!!  It's like having a tablet and a phone all in one!  Now, there is alot for me to learn, but I'll get it..  The only challenge is my "Apple" friends have to send me text twice for now since their phones are used to us imessaging.  It's a little hiccup---have patience and our phones will learn to like each other!!  Here's a picture---but mine white!!
